Positive Psychology Section Status Granted, APA 2004
During the Division 17 Executive Board meeting conducted at the APA convention in 2004, the Positive Psychology Section-in-Formation's petition for section status was granted. We are now officially the Division 17 Section on Positive Psychology. This new status gives us stability within the Society of Counseling Psychology's structure and it provides new resources to help us pursue our positive psychology missions. Thanks to all of you for your support of the section.
